MISS Rimmers Review Carnival Blog Challenge

Over at Miss Rimmers Review, she has a challenge called, It's a bad world.  It is focused on Dystopian fiction and she wanted us to answer a few questions about it and then post our answers.  So, here are my answers.  here is her link:http://www.missremmersreview.com/

First I have to admit that I have not read any Dystopian Fiction.  But, If I win this then I will have no excuse!  She asked why it is so popular, what does the popularity say about our society and what implications it has on our society?

I think that the reason it so popular is that it gives us hope, hope for a better future.  I believe we want to read about worse societies than our own,  because it allows us to see that no matter how bad conditions are, they could always be worse.  Maybe it helps us to feel better about our own.  I think the main implication it has on our society is that people want a better world to live in.
