Banned Books Week Giveaway Win a Kindle

and http://jenbigheart.blogspot.com/  Thanks ladies for the wonderful blog hop!  I am going to give one lucky winner a Kindle from Amazon.  For A great banned book , I suggest a book by William Faulkner ( Being a Mississippi girl, I felt I had to recommend a Faulkner book)

My banned book suggestion is As I Lay Dying (1932)

In 1986, Graves County, Kentucky, the school board banned this book about a poor white family in the midst of crisis, from its high school English reading list because of 7 passages which made reference to God or abortion and used curse words such as "bastard," "goddam," and "son of a bitch." None of the board members had actually read the book.

    yay! I just downloaded kindle for PC just to read the book Zoriam by Taoufik Jazouli, which is a fantastic book!! I would love an actual kindle!!!
