I love this book! I was born and raised in the south and this book speaks to those southern roots.  It is all about farm fresh foods and it has something for everyone.  There are breakfast recipes that make you want to get out of bed in the morning..  For example, there is a Farmer's Quiche recipe that uses heirloom tomatoes, and a lovely recipe for Mixed Berry Galettes that uses fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries.

I personally tried the Berry Peach Cobbler recipe and it was the best cobbler I ever made.  But, I plan to try many other recipes in this book.  I want to make the Maple Baked Beans, Strawberry shortcake, Red Velvet Marble Cake, Dill Pickles, Peach Sweet Tea, Summer Berry Cocktails, Strawberry Lemonade, and Brunswick Stew.  But, really every recipe in the book looks great.  There isn't one that I would not like.  As you can see from the list above, there is a wide variety of dishes included.  There are bread recipes, Apple and Pumpkin Butter recipes, Muffins, Cheesecakes, Doughnuts, Waffles, and Hand Pies.  And, most every recipe includes a beautiful photograph of the dish.
