In My Mailbox #3!

I told you I was behind!  So, here is another group of books that I won recently!  I won these from Rhiannon Paille!  I won 3 great books from her blog.  http://rhiannonpaille.blogspot.com/  Thank you so much Rhiannon! I am looking forward to reading them!

Wondrous strange by Lesley Livingston.
I love the coer of this book!  And here is a random quote from it.
"The music drifted over to where they stood, coiling through the late October night like a slow, lazy serpent.  Beautiful, a little disturbing." page 145

Tempestuous by Lesley Livingston and another beautiful cover!  Here is a quote from the book:
"At her side Kelly heard Cait draw breath in a hiss.  She followed Cait's gaze.  Selene, another Janus, was hiding far up in the shadows, picking off lost Fae one at a time with her deadly accurate arrows." page 161

And last but not least

Darklight by Lesley Livingston with yet another wonderful cover!

And here is the quote from this book:"

"The summer Queen glanced around as if expecting that Tyff should already be in attendance.  I sent for her and I did see her arrive earlier," she said with only a faint hint of annoyance."

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

In My Mailbox #2!

Hello again!  More catching up here!  I won these two books a few weeks ago at Lady and the Books blog.  Yay! I can't wait to read them!
http://www.ladyandthebooks.com/

Here is a random quote from Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough

"Uncle Morris materializes in the kitchen and we all jump except for my mother, who seems to have regained her composure.  She stands swiftly and tucks her hair behind her ears, a useless motion as it just springs out again in, all its corkscrew-curled glory." Page 206

The Iron Witch by Karen MaHoney

Here is a random quote from this book:
"Tears pricked her eyes. "How can I possibly see something as beautiful when, every time I look at them...every single time...they remind me of what I've lost."

I am really looking forward to reading these two books!

In My Mailbox!! Number 1

Helloeveryone!
I know that I have been away for a few weeks, but this Summer has been extremely trying.  It has been emotionally devastating.  We lost a family member unexpectedly last month and the loss has truly been draining.  Not only is he missed constantly, but his wife is my best friend and watching her suffer has been the hardest thing of all.  I want to take away her pain or at least lessen it, but sometomes I just feel so helpless.  Also, I have had some extremely difficult classes this summer, but they are over for a few weeks, and for that I am so glad!  Anyway, these are the reasons that what you will see here over the next few weeks or so is an attempt to catch up on some things.  I hope everyone is having a great summer!  Also, I just want to tell all of my wonderful followers that I love you all and appreciate you so very much!

First let me show you the great books I won last month at  http://melissawatercolor.blogspot.com.  Melissa has a beautiful blog and you can find her button in my sidebar.  It says Books and Things, or use the the link above.  Here are the Beautiful books that I won on her blog:

Oh! I cannot wait to read them both and when I do, You know I will share them here with you!
